Bury Primary School
Primarily focused on providing an educational environment in which children feel secure and happy, Bury C of E primary school are making subtle changes to the school premises to foster an improved culture of inspired learning.
Recently the school has been completing some maintenance tasks to make better use of the limited space available, allowing for more group based learning in which the children have the ability to interact more cohesively.
Emma Heanes, Bury CofE Primary School Headteacher commented: ‘’In addition to the academic programme that the school delivers through structured and relevant curriculum, we are committed to developing pupils socially. We put an emphasis on trying to vary the educational provision the school offers to provide children a wider skillset. Group work is a good way to achieve this but also keeps the children interested.’’

Jon Stump, Finance Director at Mick George Ltd said: ‘’It is fantastic to see a school delivering such outstanding education, and striving to excel beyond in the future. We appreciate that school funding is limited, so we are keen to assist where feasible. As a business we work with a number of schools incorporating schemes such as ‘Skips for Schools’ and ‘Lorry Demos’ which helps to educate on everyday occurrences such as recycling and Road Safety.’’
Stump continued: ‘’Similarly to our business, Bury CofE Primary School are investing resources heavily to develop skillsets, training and vast improvements to the school environment for both staff and pupils. Having recently relocated to our new head office premises we have experienced first hand the positive and uplifting effects that the new refreshing environment has had on motivation and business results overall’’.
