Burghley Park Cricket Club has completed significant upgrades to their current changing room facilities courtesy of funding from the Mick George Group.
Burghley Park Cricket Club
Set in the heart of Burghley estate, Burghley Park Cricket Club is a key part of the local community, providing opportunities for men, women and children to play cricket, as well as presenting community groups and schools throughout the year an invitation to use their facilities.
Continuing to grow in popularity, it was becoming increasingly apparent that improvements were necessary to the current changing rooms, which were showing signs of dilapidation and health and safety concerns.
Thanks to a £12,000 grant from the Mick George Community Fund, Burghley Cricket Club have completed significant upgrades to their changing rooms, including the installation of new showers, toilet and flooring, benefitting up to 5,000 people every year.
The facility will be a fantastic source of health and well-being for everyone to enjoy.
