The Brief

Mick George Ltd was associated with the formation works required to create a new caravan and campsite at Alton Water on behalf of Anglian Water, as well as refurbishment works to the existing Cafe.

Set in 400 acres of beautiful countryside, Alton Water Park provides the perfect location for walks, cycle rides, wildlife spotting and family picnics.

The new caravan and campsite at Alton Water will be home to 88 serviced caravan and camping pitches plus a new shower and toilet block near the current cafe and visitor car park. The development will provide a fantastic holiday location from which to explore Alton Water Park and Suffolk’s many other tourist attractions.

The campsite is the first step towards Anglian Waters longer term plans to develop the facilities at Alton Water for people and wildlife.
