CUFC Sponsorship Extension 2026/27

The Mick George Group are pleased to announce the continuation of their partnership with Cambridge United FC which now extends beyond 14 seasons.

The Mick George Group are delighted to announce the extension of their long-standing partnership with Cambridge United FC, which will now continue through the 2026/27 season.

Marking over 14 seasons of collaboration, the local construction specialist will remain one of the Club’s primary partners and continue in its role as the Official Waste Management Supplier.

Under the renewed agreement, the Mick George Group will continue to deliver sustainable recycling solutions across all Club facilities, supporting Cambridge United’s ongoing commitment to environmental responsibility and zero waste to landfill.

The announcement coincides with the businesses recent launch of their commercial waste service in and around the surrounding Cambridgeshire regions, which has seen significant investment in plant and fleet to satisfy growing demand for sustainable waste disposal.

Since the partnership began, the Mick George Group has played an integral role in supporting the Club across a wide range of initiatives, including key infrastructure projects, matchday operations, fan engagement activities and charitable efforts within the local community.

The relationship has also spanned some of the most memorable moments in the Club’s recent history.

Head of Commercial at Cambridge United FC, Neil Rowe said:

All waste generated at the Abbey Stadium and our training facilities continues to be processed through their materials recycling facility, with a clear focus on achieving zero waste to landfill.

Beyond their environmental impact, the Mick George Group have been exceptional supporters of the Cambridge United Community Foundation, consistently helping to drive fundraising initiatives over many years.
