Project Growth in 2025
A recent industry wide report has found that there was a 33% rise in project starts during the three months to the end of April 2025. The May edition of the industry report shows a 29% improvement when compared to the same period last year.
The rise in project starts is believed to be heavily linked to improvements in key sectors such as house building. Despite a minor decrease in contract awards, the vast majority of the positive outlook has come as a result of planning permissions increasing by 52% year on year.
